The White Marlin Open will take place from August 7th to the 11th at the Harbour Island Marina on 14th Street and the bay. The White Marlin open is in it's 33rd year, and is the world's largest billfish tournament. Millions of dollars of prize money is awarded annually, which helps ease the entry fee of $950 dollars per boat. Boats entered in the contest fish for white and blue marlin, as well as tuna, dolphin, wahoo and shark.
